Here are the leading goalscorers across Europe's top five leagues so far in 2019.
Despite not playing in FC Barcelona's past three matches, Lionel Messi is still at the top of the ranking with more than double the tally Cristiano Ronaldo has.
The Barcelona captain is yet to feature in this campaign after he sustained an ankle injury upon his return to training in pre-season.
However, the 32-year-old still leads the way in terms of goals scored at club level across Europe's top five leagues this year, with 30 strikes in as many matches.
The nearest to Messi is Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who is on 25 goals in this calendar year so far, followed by Manchester City hitman Sergio Aguero. The Argentine has been in excellent form of late and has notched up 24 strikes in 2019 until now.
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has struck as many times as the 31-year-old but could drop further down the list after his recent injury.
Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema comes in at fifth in the ranking.
Mohamed Salah does not feature in the top 10, nor does Ronaldo, who has only found the back of the net for Juventus on 14 occasions since the turn of the year.
